Katya Jones, 30, took to Instagram this morning to reminisce about her former partners ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 Live Tour which kicks off tomorrow.
The professional dancer, who joined the cast of the BBC show four years ago, shared pictures from her two previous tours with her 163,000 followers.
The Strictly star said she had “many lovely memories” from the past events and couldn’t wait for the new tour to start.
In a reflective mood, Katya told her Instagram followers: “Love looking back at the promo shots from my first and second SCD Live tours!”
She continued: “Creating so many lovely memories, dancing our favourite dances for the wonderful people all around the country, Spreading the Joy of Dancing – that’s what it’s about!”
Looking forward to the upcoming Strictly 2020 live tour, which will see Katya dance again with BBC Breakfast star Mike Bushell, 54 – her celebrity partner from the show, she went on to say: “I genuinely can’t wait for our promo photos and for tour to start with @mikebushellofficial!”
“What a beautiful way to finish his Strictly journey,” she added.
Speaking about the close-knit cast, Katya signed off: “Once part of Strictly Family, you’re forever a member! Bring it on!!! #strictly #strictlycomedancing #livetour.”
The Russian dancer, who made a big announcement on the social media site earlier this week, posted two pictures alongside the emotional post.
One picture showed her with politician Ed Balls, 52, her first partner on the ballroom dancing show back in 2016.
The second with Holby City actor Joe McFadden, 44, who she won the competition with the following year.
Taking to the comments section below the pictures, Joe wished his former partner good luck.
He wrote: “Best of luck with the tour and wish I could get in to see you. Maybe we’ll play the same city at some point!”
The actor is also touring the country in January, performing in The House On Cold Hill play with former EastEnders star Rita Simons.
Katya sadly replied: “@mrjoemcfadden we just miss each other in Nottingham.”
