Strictly: Giovanni Pernice kisses ex-TOWIE star Jess Wright amid Debbie McGee Instagram | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

The Strictly Come Dancing professional surprised fans tonight as he cosied up to an unexpected reality TV star.

Giovanni has kept his love life under a relatively low profile since splitting with Strictly partner Georgia May Foote back in 2016.

But, the Italian dancer made a very public display of affection on Instagram this evening, as he puckered up to former The Only Way is Essex star Jess Wright.

Sharing the loved-up snap with his 149,000 Instagram followers, Giovanni was pictured leaning in for a kiss with the Essex-based model.

And, as the 27-year-old candidly planted a kiss on the pop singer, Jess gazed at the lens.

Beside the adorable upload, Giovanni wrote: “Buon San Valentino”, which translates as “Happy Valentine’s Day”.

One seriously shocked fan wrote: “Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?!”(sic)

While another exclaimed: “Omg HOT GOSS.”(sic)

“This better be your ‘friend’,” joked a third fan.

A fourth admirer gushed: “Omg this is cute.”

The BBC dancer, who dated his former Strictly partner Georgia for two years after meeting on the show, was first rumoured to be linked with the reality TV star in December last year.

After being spotted spending time together in London, a source told The Sun: “They’ve been on a few dates, but it’s early days.

“They met through her brother Mark’s Strictly connections from when he was on the show and they’re getting to know each other.”

The upload came just days after Giovanni had shared a heartfelt tribute to his celebrity dance partner Debbie McGee.

Beside a photo of the dance duo, the Italian model told her: “Ends today, after almost 5 months, one of the most beautiful experiences of my life..

“@thedebbiemcgee you have been and always will remain a joy to work with!! Laugh and joke every day this is what I will miss most of all..”(sic)

Vowing to reunite with the 59-year-old performer in the near future, he added: ““But I’m not worried because we will see each other very soon… Until next time D.E.B.B.I.E.”
