The actor, 35 – best known as Emmerdale’s Andy Sugden – said: “We’ve got a great friendship, sometimes like brother and sister. We get on and she is obviously there to tell me when I’m going wrong and she doesn’t hold back when I make a mistake.
“Through the week it’s a lot of hard work, long hours and then sometimes you’re panicking on a Friday and thinking is the routine where it needs to be?”
