Royal Wedding 2018 news: Meghan Markle’s chooses Jessica Mulroney’s sons as page boys | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are due to wed at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday.

And, with the final preparations for the Royal Wedding 2018 underway, Kensington Palace has confirmed who the happy couple have chosen as their bridesmaids and pageboys.

And, it appears that the duo have allocated important roles to Meghan’s best friend Jessica’s children.

In a statement released today, it was announced the stylist’s seven-year-old sons, Brian and John, will be page boys – as will Prince George and Jasper Dyer.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s four-year-old daughter Ivy be a bridesmaid, joining Princess Charlotte, Florence van Cutsem, Zalie Warren, Remi Litt, and Rulan Litt.

It came shortly after Canadian stylist Jessica was spotted in Heathrow Airport, after jetting into the capital with her family before the big day.

Sporting a blue pin striped jacket and grey jumper, the 38-year-old looked very chic as she made her arrival.

The star, who is thought to have met Meghan when she moved to Toronto for Suits, could be seen wheeling her luggage on a trolley.

The socialite touched down in London with her husband TV host Ben Mulroney and their three children last night.

Earlier this year, the star was rumoured to have flown to the UK in order to attend Meghan’s wedding dress fittings.

However, despite their close friendship, Jessica will not be a bridesmaid, as the actress has opted against having any adult bridesmaids.

A palace spokesperson told People Magazine at the time: “She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn’t want to choose one over another.

“All [Meghan’s close friends] have been actively involved in helping her prepare for the day and will be there in the days beforehand.”

They continued: “She’s very happy to have their support.”

In a statement shared by Kensington Palace on Twitter earlier this month, it was confirmed that Meghan would be joined by some of her bridesmaids and page boys outside of St George’s Chapel.

Last year, Jessica joined Meghan and Prince Harry in the royal box for the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

The respected fashion stylist reportedly advised Meghan on what to wear to Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding back in May last year.

It is thought that the mother-of-three recommended that she ensured she didn’t clash with the Duchess of Cambridge.

A source told E! News at the time: “Jessica is a fantastic stylist and is smart enough to know that, as well as making sure Meghan looks her best, they also need to be mindful about what Kate is wearing.

“The last thing anyone would want would be for them to be in a similar colour or design. Meghan would never want to attract the wrong kind of attention.”

Meanwhile, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle, 72, hit the headlines this week, after he admitted staging paparazzi photos.

After the news broke, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Markle opened up about the reports on Good Morning Britain.

However, during the interview, presenter Piers Morgan hit out at her, after she admitted responsibility for orchestrating the photos.

He said: “The media have been bombarded with letters from Kensington Palace and Thomas Markle as well.

“Now it turns out he was actively invading his own privacy for a cheque from a photographer.”
