Perrie Edwards, 25, took to Instagram to wish Liverpool luck ahead of the Champions League Final. The Little Mix singer posted a short clip on her Instagram Story in view of her 8.9 million followers as she zoomed in and out on an golden L.F.C. badge. The star flew out to Madrid to support her boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 25, who plays as a midfielder for the Premier League club. The footballer was on the bench during tonight’s match due to an injury he sustained last year.
Before kick-off, Perrie admitted she was unsure about whether her other half would be able to participate in the grand final.
The Woman Like Me hitmaker told Forth 1: “I’m going to be out in Madrid so if they win it’s going to be party central and I am ready to party,
“I just want Alex to be a part of it, that’s all I care about.
“I can’t even tell you how nervous I am and I don’t even know if he is going to play or not but my anxiety is through the roof.
“I just want them to win.”
Perrie also predicted a Liverpool victory, as she revealed she had “a good feeling” Alex’s side would beat Tottenham.
Yesterday, the performer shared another video of herself at a restaurant with her family and friends last night ahead of the big match.
Perrie and Alex first started romance rumours when they were spotted together in 2016 and confirmed their relationship on the social media platform a few months later.
Alex shared a message about his final training session before the final on Instagram yesterday.
He wrote in view of his 3.7 million followers: “Last session done we ready. #YNWA.”
Elsewhere, it was claimed Spurs player Dele Alli, 23, asked his ex-girlfriend Ruby Mae to watch the game in Spain.
Reports suggested the sportsman wanted to “win back” Ruby and “flew her out” to the country to support him.
The model, who Dele has allegedly dubbed his “lucky charm”, was expected to be in the stands.
A source said: “Dele’s totally focussed on the game but wanted to have Ruby there in the stadium watching.
“Tonight is the biggest game of his life and Dele wants to make Ruby proud by going out and helping lead the team to a win over Liverpool.”
They continued: “He’s chartered a private jet to fly her out with his friends and family and has said she’s his lucky charm.
“Off the pitch, he’s been trying to win Ruby back and is keen to start up their relationship. For now though, the match is his main focus and what he’s totally focussed on winning.”
