The former Coronation Street favourite said “nothing” was going on between herself and the reality television star, as she joined Roman Kemp and Tom Rosenthal on The Chris Ramsey Show sofa.
The 27-year-old looked uncomfortable as she was quizzed on comments Chris had made about the pair, just hours after she thanked her mother for “always catching me” in the last year.
Presenter Chris had teasingly asked Georgia if she was looking forward to the return of ITV2’s Love Island.
The 31-year-old then questioned: “Bet you can’t wait to get yourself linked with more TV reality stars?”
Rolling her eyes and sinking into her seat, Georgia replied: “Oh, for god’s sake.”
The host continued: “This was all over my Twitter recently, you and pretty boy Chris Hughes. It’s everywhere! What’s the story? Give us the lowdown now.”
The brunette beauty then clarified: “I hate you. Nothing… Dating is when you’re going into a relationship.
“I don’t want a relationship right now. You just meet up like friends, don’t you?”
Saying he looked nice as a picture of Chris flashed up on screen, Georgia did not seem to agree: “He’s alright. He’s just alright.”
She had wowed in a grey low-cut dress for the programme’s series finale, complete with a floral print.
“Taught me everything I know (even if my lasagne is well better than yours) and you have given me, my sister, my dad, and lots of foster children the best memories and cuddles over the years.
“Thank you for always catching me when I fell. Especially this year – have a cracking day!Love you!”(sic)
Georgia appeared to be in a nostalgic mood as she shared a throwback snap from one of her first roles.
“As seen as I have not long off posted my old headshot… here is my first official pic as Alison Simmons in Grange Hill. 12 years old. 15 years ago! #goldenoldie,” she captioned it.
