David Hasselhoff, 67, sported a moustache on the ITV programme this morning, which had fans on Twitter comparing him to a host of famous faces. Even Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 54, said the actor looked “distinguished” as he rocked his new look.
The Hollywood actor looked relaxed as he rocked an open shirt with a light grey suit.
His grey tresses also matched his grey moustache as he chatted about his new role in Dolly Parton’ musical 9 to 5.
Fans flocked to Twitter and commented on his look, as one person quipped: “Why does @DavidHasselhoff look like an older Lee Ryan?”
However, one person wasn’t impressed as they branded it “creepy”.

The social media user in question said: “Piers is wrong. It looks creepy.”
Another person mused: “Really, Piers, distinguished?”
While a fourth person quipped: “Probably in pantomime as Captain Hook or something.”
But David confirmed his reasoning behind sporting his new look as he told GMB host’s Piers, Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins that he was playing the “bad guy” in a new musical.
The Baywatch actor gushed: “I love David Niven.”
David Niven was a British actor and novelist who was known for his role in The Pink Panther.
Meanwhile, David is set to join the cast of Dolly Parton’s West End run in the musical play 9 to 5.
The production, which previously starred Love Island winner Amber Davies and former Eternal member Louise Redknapp, officially opened at the Savoy Theatre in February.
He will be playing the villain Franklin Hart Jr. from next month which was previously played by comedian Brian Conley.
Speaking about the role, he said: “I went to see the show back in June and I thought it was Hofftastic. That’s when I knew I wanted to be part of it.”
“Franklin Hart Jr. is going to be a fun part for me to play and I’m looking forward to being back on stage in the UK,” he added.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6.30am
