Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professional AJ Pritchard, 24, recently made things official with his fellow dancer Abbie Quinnen, 22, who he met on his Get On The Floor Live tour back in March.
Now, the dancer has revealed they spent time alone in a hotel together after their first date.
When asked when things turned romantic between the pair, he told OK! Magazine: “I took the whole cast out for dinner to say thank you, and then we went to a club.
“Abbie and I were talking a lot, and I was really attracted to her once I got to know her.
“For our first official date we went for dinner then I booked us a hotel in London because my apartment didn’t have any furniture at the time.
“That sounds really bad, doesn’t it?”
The couple made their relationship official during the first holiday together in Greece back in July.
In view of his 626,000 followers, he shared a picture of the pair holding hands as they beamed for the camera.
He captioned the picture: “Feeling HAPPY.”
Speaking of the moment, he added to the publication: “We’d been spending every single day together so it was natural, and in my head I felt like I didn’t have to ask.
“But Abbie said, ‘So are you going to ask me then?’ I was like, ‘Okay, yeah will you be my girlfriend?’ And she said, ‘Ok, yeah I will’.”
Despite the pair being loved-up, Abbie went on to say she hasn’t been seeing AJ as much as she’d like to, due to his commitment with Strictly Come Dancing.
This series, he is dancing with Youtube star Saffron Barker, 19.
At the beginning of their partnership, head judge Shirley Ballas said she could see chemistry between the pair.
This prompted many viewers to speculate a romance between the pair on social media, which the duo have shut down several times.
Last month, Saffron Barker slammed romance rumours, telling Express.co.uk: “Honestly, I just look at AJ as such a good friend.
“We got close really quickly, but we have a personality that just bounces off each other and I don’t think we will be anymore than friends. He’s got a girlfriend.”
Praising Abbie, she added: “Yes I have [met her], she’s lovely.”
On his teaching abilities, she went on to say: “He’s amazing and so much fun, and very calm which is nice.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
